In just a few weeks, relentless monsoon rains and flash floods have turned Pakistan into a disaster zone. Rivers have burst their banks, homes have collapsed, and families have been torn apart by surging flood waters across the country. 170 children’s lives have been lost in attempting to survive the devastation caused.

The scale of destruction is staggering as nearly 1,000 people have died, with hundreds more injured. In just three days, between 15–17 August, 313 people were killed as villages were swept away, and more than 4,200 homes have been destroyed, leaving thousands of families stranded and homeless.
And yet, the rains continue. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, emergencies have been declared across nine districts, with schools, clinics, and entire communities washed out. In Punjab, rising rivers have displaced thousands of families, destroying crops and livestock that many depend on to survive.
This is not just an environmental crisis, it is a humanitarian emergency in Pakistan.
With your support, IHHN is helping flood-affected families survive this climate crisis. IHHN’s mobile medical units are reaching stranded villages, delivering emergency care, essential medicines, safe deliveries, and medical camps in remote areas across Pakistan.
The crisis continues, and every moment counts. Your donation can save lives and help families rebuild.
