When devastating floods once again swept across Pakistan, IHHN responded without delay. Emergency medical teams established camps across 19 flood-affected districts, providing free treatment to more than 140,000 patients. Beyond emergency care, the response included maternal, neonatal, and child health services, with the Maternal Health on Wheels initiative ensuring women and children in remote communities continued receiving essential healthcare when they needed it most.

To nurture future leaders in healthcare and philanthropy, IHHN launched the Youth Training Program (YTP), a biannual initiative welcoming young participants from around the world. Through immersive hospital experiences, clinical exposure, field visits, and meaningful interactions with patients and healthcare professionals, participants developed a deeper understanding of compassionate care. Each edition concluded with a Pediatric Oncology Carnival, planned entirely by the students to bring joy to children undergoing cancer treatment.

As patient needs continue to grow, so does IHHN’s infrastructure. During the year, the Network operationalized its Central Sterile Services Department, new administrative offices, a 70-bed inpatient ward, and a dedicated Clinical Research Unit, further strengthening its ability to deliver safe, efficient, and evidence-based healthcare.

Entering its ninth year, Project GODA continued transforming lives through free orthopedic and spinal surgeries. Supported by a volunteer team of 26 medical professionals from the United States, the mission successfully performed 270 complex surgeries across Karachi and Muzaffargarh, restoring mobility and improving quality of life for patients who otherwise had limited access to specialized care.

IHHN further strengthened its commitment to specialized healthcare by hosting an international ENT Medical Mission. World-renowned surgeons from the United States worked alongside local healthcare professionals, performing 50 advanced surgeries while sharing expertise that will continue to enhance ENT care long after the mission concludes.

IHHN’s commitment to innovation and patient-centred care received global recognition at the 2026 Asia-Pacific Stevie® Awards. The Network earned the Gold Stevie® Award for its pioneering Cystic Fibrosis Program and the Silver Stevie® Award for Excellence in Social Impact, reflecting its continued efforts to deliver free, high-quality healthcare through sustainable and innovative models.

Knowledge-sharing remains central to IHHN’s mission. Through its Cystic Fibrosis Training & Development Workshop, the Network welcomed leading specialists from Marmara University Hospital, Türkiye, to train local multidisciplinary teams. The collaboration strengthened clinical expertise, encouraged research-driven care, and reinforced IHHN’s commitment to bringing global best practices to patients in Pakistan.
