Together, let's save more lives
with your Zakat!
Indus Hospital & Health Network is providing free-of-charge healthcare services to more than 5.4 Million patients per year across Pakistan. It is your Zakat, Sadaqat and donations that become a source of hope and joy for these deserving patients at IHHN.
70% of patients visiting IHHN’s countrywide network of primary, secondary and tertiary care facilities are Zakat eligible. The fulfilment of your ‘farz’ of Zakat brings multifold blessings in return for you and your loved ones. Help us continue to fulfil our duty of provision of absolutely free and quality healthcare services to many more deserving patients.

Based on the policy and guidelines provided by IHHN’s Shariah Supervisory Committee and Zakat Committee, Zakat fund is solely used for the treatment of eligible patients – the Mustehqin. The disbursement of the fund is through a transparent process where the patient allows the Hospital to use Zakat for his/her treatment. To ensure our donors have transparency over the utilization of their Zakat, audited accounts are publically available.

How Zakat utilized at
Indus Hospital & Health Network
IHHN ensures that your Zakat is only utilized for Zakat eligible patients. IHHN has formulated a committee that consists of prominent Islamic Scholars who provide guidelines for the eligibility, collection and utilization of Zakat.
At the time of each patient’s admission, our welfare officers collect relevant financial information to determine Zakat eligibility as per Islamic guidelines. Once the patient is identified as Zakat eligible, all their expenses are paid from the Zakat fund. It is pertinent to mention that more than 70% of our patients are Zakat eligible.
