Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) provides free, quality healthcare in Pakistan to millions of deserving patients through its extensive network of hospitals and healthcare facilities nationwide. Starting with one hospital in Karachi in 2007, IHHN now operates multiple tertiary and secondary care hospitals, physical rehabilitation centers, regional blood centers, community health clinics, and numerous public health programs across the country.
The Indus Hospital & Health Network’s mission is to deliver indiscriminate, world-class healthcare to all in a state-of-the-art medical environment in Pakistan. As a not-for-profit healthcare organization, IHHN relies entirely on public donations to sustain its operations. To achieve its mission, it partners with individual donors, corporations, international agencies, educational institutions, and the provincial and federal governments.
With a rapidly growing patient base, people from all over Pakistan are turning to Indus Hospital & Health Network for free, high-quality medical care. To meet this rising demand, IHHN is expanding its facilities while upholding the highest standards of healthcare. The Korangi Campus in Karachi currently has a 300-bed capacity, soon to be expanded to 1,350 beds, while a new 600-bed hospital in Lahore —The Indus Hospital, QF, NST & SMP Campus, is under construction.
Pakistan faces a critical shortage of healthcare professionals, and IHHN is addressing this gap through the Indus University of Health Sciences (IUHS). This initiative aims to train world-class medical experts, building the next generation of doctors and healthcare providers. A medical college and a school of nursing and midwifery are also being established at The Indus Hospital, QF, NST & SMP Campus, Lahore, to strengthen Pakistan’s healthcare education and workforce.
