At just 17 years old, Ajmal from Shikarpur carried responsibilities far beyond his years. Working in agriculture to help support his family, his days were divided between the fields and his education—until a single accident changed everything.
Two years ago, Ajmal slipped and suffered a serious knee injury that left him unable to walk comfortably, work on the farm, or attend school. What should have been a temporary setback turned into a prolonged struggle, forcing him to put both his livelihood and education on hold. For a young boy with aspirations, the loss was deeply felt.
Ajmal’s turning point came when he sought treatment at Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN). Through Project GODA, he was scheduled for a much-needed knee surgery—provided free of cost. The procedure, followed by structured physiotherapy, marked the beginning of his recovery and a renewed sense of possibility.

Today, Ajmal is healing with hope and determination. He looks forward to returning to school, continuing the education he had to pause, and reclaiming the ability to work and support his family. Simple things—like running freely or sitting without pain—have taken on new meaning.

Ajmal’s journey reflects the power of accessible, quality healthcare. Through Project GODA, lives interrupted by injury are given the chance to move forward again—restoring mobility, dignity, opportunity, and hope.
Embark on a meaningful journey by getting involved in our mission to provide quality healthcare for all. Your involvement can make a significant difference in the lives of those in need. Here’s how you can be a catalyst for change.
